I was born & raised in Washington, DC and Virginia - another area of great beauty, steeped in history. We would go on hikes in the Shenandoah Valley.

As a child, I started drawing, then painting and always loved being in nature.

My B.A. degree is in Fine Art. I taught art and was an entrepreneur in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

I love the wonderful, diverse art world in Santa Fe. I am still amazed at the beauty of the land and skies in New Mexico and love nothing more than plein air painting.

I moved here in 1998 to become a full time artist. I exhibited with the Santa Fe Society of Artists, first with photographs then oil  painting. I served on the board and I was a partner in two art galleries.
