After nearly a decade of running my beloved shop and gallery, I’ve made the tender decision to retire and will be closing Cerrillos Station on Friday, July 18, 2025.

Restoring this building and filling it with beautiful, ethically
sourced art, jewelry, housewares, textiles, and handmade goods was a
true labor of love. From the beginning, my dream was to build a space
rooted in community—celebrating artists from our region and beyond, and
inviting connection, creativity, and conversation.

Over the years, we’ve shared so much here: gallery openings, seasonal
events, a pow wow, the rumble of daily trains, and even the challenges
of a pandemic. Many of you were greeted by my late husband Tom
Briggs—always with a smile and a warm chat. Those memories live in every
corner of this place.

It’s been incredibly special to meet people from all over the world
who’ve found their way to this little village off the Turquoise Trail.
So many wonderful conversations, connections, and shared stories have
walked through those doors.

While I’m stepping away, the Farmers Market and Desert Wilde Salon will continue in their current locations without interruption—essential pieces of our local community that I’m proud to have alongside this space.

We’re now in full Retirement Sale mode, and I would be so grateful for your support in helping us clear the shelves. Everything must go—beautiful pieces from local artisans and faraway discoveries, all ready to find new homes.

Come shop! Bring your friends, summer guests, or the kids. Grab a coffee or an ice cream and make a day of it.

Join us for a Farewell Celebration on Saturday, July 12 from 2–4 PM. Let’s toast to the memories, the people, and the place.

Store Hours through July 18:

Thursdays: 11–7

Fridays & Saturdays: 11–5:30

Sundays: 11–4

The coffee shop will be open during store hours—come by for a cuppa and a warm goodbye.

Follow us here on Facebook for weekly sale updates and markdowns.

Please help us spread the word—every bit of support helps as we send each piece off with love.

With deep gratitude,

Barbara J. Briggs
