Rachel started practicing yoga at 12 years old as part of her dance program in Colorado. At 17 she completed a two-year, 200 hour teacher training and apprenticeship in Iyengar yoga. After ten years of teaching yoga to diverse groups of students, her practice and teaching style have evolved to include elements of Kundilini and Ashtanga traditions blended into a dynamic and gentle flow. Her classes emphasize breath, alignment and body awareness.
It is appropriate for all levels, but students with serious medical condition should consult their medical provider before beginning and let the me know about their medical condition so I can offer modifications to poses.
Cost: $12 drop in
$60 for 6 weeks
Saturday 10am and 11:30am
Bring: Yoga mat or sheepskin, blanket or shawl if desired
Dress: yoga clothes or exercise clothes
